"If a little dreaming is dangerous, the cure for it is not to dream less, but to dream more, to dream all the time."

Marcel Proust (1871-1922), French novelist

Our dreams shape us. Our dreams are us.

People have theorized over time why we dream and how we dream. Scientists and shamans have delved deep and generally come up just a little short. And, of course, there are modern dream books which claim to tell you what certain items or places in a dream might mean. We feel that the authority is in the wrong place.

We want to put the power in your hands.

By offering up your own dreams and your own images, and how you think they might pertain to your life, others can jump in and compare their own dreams. Are their real correlations? Or do we merely make up pretty meanings for dream objects, dream places, dream people?

This is all for you to decide.

"Why does the eye see a thing more clearly in dreams than the imagination when awake?"

Leonardo da Vinci

Have you ever woken up in a haze or felt so lucid it hurts? Do you close your eyes and try beyond words to get back to that place? And have you, sadly, even an hour later (making breakfast, brushing your teeth) forgotten everything that was so immediately important only a short time before?

This is the place to keep your dream world safe. To preserve it.

To turn your waking life on its head.

"I dream, therefore I exist."

J. August Strindberg (1849-1912),
Swedish dramatist, novelist, poet
